Easter in Tallinn 2015

We finally found a church that holds mass in English and decided to go there for Ester mass and an egg hunt for the kids.  It was good to see so many of our English speaking friends also some teachers from our school.  Boys had a blast in the field of plastic eggs and participating in some easter games provided by the church.  Boys were not so impressed with finding only candy inside of eggs. They remember all fancy fillings they get in the States: stickers, small toys and of cause money.  We hope living in Estonia will show and teach or boys to be more humble and less focused on material things.

We also did some egg painting ourselves at home.  Last year Jurgita spent a few hours in a Ukrainian church learning how to make "Pysanky" egg dying technique.  We ordered all necessary equipment, like bees wax, Kistka (pen that holds wax), different color dies and then had to have eggs, and candle for melting the wax in a Kistka.  We all had so much fun playing with this technique that can't wait till next year to try it again.
