The Good, The Bad and The Interesting :-)

mix and match - will record things as we experience them

The Good:
- Public bus and trolley transportation is FREE
- Food products go bad much faster here - that mean less preservatives and food is healthier.
- They make good coffee - even at McDonalds :-)
- Must bring your own shopping bag to every store - unless you want to buy new once every time.
- Flower shops are everywhere
- Did I mention that fresh seafood here is outstanding (if you know how to prepare it of cause)

The Bad:
- However many public restrooms are 20 cents, or you need a code of your shopping receipt to enter stores restroom , McDonalds is one of them,
- Washer and dryer are very small
- Dryer takes 3hr. to dry one load completely.  you also need to empty a water tank that fills up during drying......part that's why my 1st few loads didn't dry well - the tank was full.
- "Windex" products sucks here!!!!!!!!!  I already bought 3 different brands and they all leave film on top of glass and windows :((((
- Trash bags are very weak and flimsy.  They also don't fit my trash can and don't have a draw string on top so you can't  fasten them and they fall inside all the time :(((((
UPDATE on trash bags - I did get to finally find some trash bags with draw string and some with long handles but they are still weak and flimsy:-((

The Interesting (or just Different):

- European refrigerators.......where do I start? We have two sets in the house, one in the kitchen and the second one is in the basement.  I thought they gave us two sets to have more space, but we really don't need two for the food b/c the food goes bad in few days, so you cant keep stock like we use to in the States.  I think the 2nd fridge is for back up (or beverages in out case:-).  There is a 2nd reason for fridge #2.  Both fridge but one at a time will have to be unplugged and completely defrosted and cleaned.  This needs to be done b/c the freezer gets so frozen that it looks like a big iceberg in there.  Freezer walls gets so much ice around that at some point you will not be able to even pull it's draws in or out.  That's why it needs to be defrosted time to time.  I will take a pictures when it become in need of meltdown.
