Saturday April 5th - Diplomatic Soccer Tournament.
Chris was asked to play for US Embassy team. He was not so keen about that idea but felt like he needed to be a team player and agreed to help. To back it up a bit Chris has an old Achilles Tendon injury that has been bothering him. So his triathlon coach wanted Chris to put a fake boot on and show up to the game just to support, not play. They played five 12 minute games. It was fun to watch even if our team wasn't that good, compare to other county embassies.
Boys and I left home with one game remaining. Two hours later we get The Call from the hospital and the news of "Gone Achilles". The news were shocking and sad. The other bad part of this injury that the good leg got hurt, not the bad one :-( We are in the process right now deciding where the surgery will take place. London and USA are two possible countries of choice.

| The boys love to play "guns" with daddies crutches and we made some cool pictures on his half cast. |
Happy April Fools Day.
It was a regular morning and when boys left for school, Chris remembered that it was April 1st and he should have pulled a prank on the kids....oh well there is always next year. Later in that day, Chris met us at Cameron's track practice. Twins and I were just about to leave for our swim practice when Chris announced that our Ambassador just came back from Africa and brought back a monkey which he is unable to keep. So he wanted us to have it. The boys were very excited and couldn't wait to get home to meet Pedro the monkey. On the way home they were planing how they will feed him and where he will sleep. Little did they know that it was April fools day and daddy was pulling a joke on them. They were not happy Pedro wasn't real:-(
